Our standard width fabric can be cut as a Fat Quarter, measuring 50cm x 1/2 the width of the bolt. Above is an example of how your fabric will be received, depending on the quantity ordered.
We also offer a sample service, where you can order 1 single fat quarter of any standard width fabric, to have at home and compare colours. When you are finished, you can send them back to us for a refund (feel free to contact us for more information on this service).
Our fabric can be cut as a Long Quarter, measuring a minimum of 25cm x width of bolt. We will supply the fabric as a continuous length (eg; if you bought 1.25m it will be sent as one piece of fabric).

Is the PFAFF Admire Air 5000 suitable for beginners?
The Admire Air 5000 is rated intermediate to professional and sits above entry-level overlockers. Air threading and the built-in needle threader make setup far easier than traditional machines, which means confident beginners ready to step up will get on with it well. Mechanical tension dials take a little practice but are straightforward once you have set them a few times.
Can I sew knit fabrics like jersey and stretch cotton?
Absolutely. Differential feed adjusts how the front and rear feed dogs move the fabric, which keeps knits feeding smoothly without waves along the seam. It is one of the main reasons sewers step up from a standard sewing machine zigzag to an overlocker for knitwear.
What's the difference between the PFAFF Admire Air 5000 and the PFAFF Admire Air 6000?
The 5000 is an overlocker only. The 6000 is a coverlock, it does everything the 5000 does plus coverstitch and chainstitch, so it covers hems and seam finish topstitching as well as overlocking. It steps up to 23 stitches across 2/3/4/5 threads, adds an automatic stitch selection dial, knee lift, free arm and five LED lights. If you want one machine to overlock and hem stretch garments, the 6000 is the answer. Call our team for further information.
Does it come with everything I need to start sewing?
The box includes the standard foot, needles, tweezers, threading wire, waste tray, spool holder and the foot control, plus the cover and instruction manual. You will want your own overlocker thread on four cones to get going. Extension tables and optional feet are available separately.
