Our standard width fabric can be cut as a Fat Quarter, measuring 50cm x 1/2 the width of the bolt. Above is an example of how your fabric will be received, depending on the quantity ordered.
We also offer a sample service, where you can order 1 single fat quarter of any standard width fabric, to have at home and compare colours. When you are finished, you can send them back to us for a refund (feel free to contact us for more information on this service).
Our fabric can be cut as a Long Quarter, measuring a minimum of 25cm x width of bolt. We will supply the fabric as a continuous length (eg; if you bought 1.25m it will be sent as one piece of fabric).

The PFAFF creative elevate 680 machine delivers exceptional sewing and embroidery performance for makers of every level. For sewers moving up from a mid-range machine, it offers the stitch library, workspace and automation to take on larger and more demanding projects.
With over 400 built-in stitches and a 9mm maximum stitch width, the creative elevate 680 covers utility seams, stretch work and decorative stitching in depth. PFAFF's own stitch techniques are included, among them Floating Stitches, Radiant Stitches, Ribbon Stitches, Lace-Edge Stitches and Stacking Stitches, which means decorative work has genuine range, not just small changes on one basic stitch. Four sewing fonts allow lettering directly from the stitch menu and nine buttonhole styles cover dressmaking from shirting to heavier coat fabrics.
The 250mm sewing surface to the right of the needle gives you room to manage quilt tops and larger home furnishing projects without constantly repositioning fabric. Automatic thread tension sets itself for the stitch and fabric in use, so you get clean stitch formation without dialling in adjustments by hand. The automatic needle threader, Auto Snip thread cutter, thread sensors and automatic presser foot lift handle the repetitive parts of sewing and bobbin winding through the needle or while sewing keeps interruptions down.
Enjoy a large embroidery area of 360 x 200mm without having to re-hoop. With the Exact Position feature, you can fine-tune the perfect placement. Easily match multiple hoopings to create embroideries at the ideal size. Create unlimited new embroideries using any stitch and/or embroidery. The 7-inch capacitive colour touchscreen responds to swipe, pinch and spread gestures, so editing designs and moving through settings is quick and direct.
The built-in Learning Centre carries interactive tutorials covering machine setup, zips, hems and quilting techniques, with Quick Help giving on-screen explanations at the touch of a button. The Original IDT System has been part of PFAFF machines since 1968 and is built into the machine rather than clipped on as an accessory. Integrated feed teeth grip fabric from above while the standard feed dogs work from below, keeping top and bottom layers moving at the same rate. On slippery satins, stretch jersey or layered quilt sandwiches, that means seams match at the end exactly as they were pinned at the start.
Thread tension is set automatically for the stitch and fabric in use, adjusting continuously as you sew rather than requiring manual correction between fabric changes. This matters most when moving between weights in a single project, for example topstitching a lightweight lining then sewing through a heavy outer. The result is consistent stitch formation on both sides of the fabric, with less thread nesting and fewer skipped stitches.

Do I have to buy the embroidery unit at the same time?
No. The creative elevate 680 works as a full sewing machine on its own, and the embroidery unit is a separate purchase you can add whenever you're ready. That makes it a sensible choice if embroidery is something you're curious about but not committed to yet.
Is this machine suitable for a beginner?
It's a lot of machine for a first purchase, but the built-in Learning Centre and Quick Help mean you're not left to work things out alone. Confident beginners who already know the basics and want a machine they won't outgrow will get on with it well.
What difference does IDT actually make?
It stops the top layer of fabric creeping forward while the bottom layer feeds normally. If you've ever finished a seam and found one side longer than the other, that's the problem IDT solves. It's most noticeable on stripes, checks, slippery fabrics and multiple quilt layers.
Can I use it for free-motion quilting?
Yes. The feed teeth drop manually and there are four free-motion options to choose between, so you can set the machine up for stipple work or custom quilting. There is enough space to the right of the needle to keep a full quilt supported while you work.
Do I need a computer to use the embroidery functions?
No. Designs can be edited directly on the 7-inch touchscreen, and the 330+ built-in designs and 8 fonts are ready to stitch without transferring anything. If you do want to bring in your own designs, CREATIVATE sends them from your phone or computer.
