The Horn Gemini Cabinet is one of Horn’s most popular compact sewing cabinets - designed for sewists who want a space‑saving workstation without sacrificing stability, storage, or comfort. When closed, it measures just 2.5 ft × 1.5 ft, making it ideal for small sewing rooms, apartments or multipurpose spaces .

Despite its small footprint, the Gemini features Horn’s Long Lifter Opening (Type 1992), which accommodates many modern and older domestic sewing machines (though not the very largest models) . A 3‑step push‑down air‑lift mechanism allows you to move your machine smoothly between storage, flatbed and free‑arm positions with a simple push .

The cabinet includes recessed angled doors with transparent storage bins - designed so fabric drapes smoothly without catching - and a rear work area extension that lifts up to prevent needle drag on quilts and large projects . A custom‑cut flatbed insert is included, giving you a perfectly flush sewing surface .

Available in multiple finishes such as White, Beech, Weathered Oak and American Grey Oak, the Gemini blends seamlessly into any sewing space.

• Fitted with our large lifter opening (type 1929) which is capable of taking many of the newer (and older) machines on the market but not all of, more particularly, the larger domestic sewing machines available today.

• Door storage bins are recessed under the lid by means of a specially constructed angled door system this allows your fabric to drape down without catching or disturbing the door bin contents.
• A work area at the back of the machine which prevents the needle drag that can happen with large projects. Lifts up easily when needed and down when not (so it doesn’t have to be open all the time). It has a very sturdy gate leg design with Quilters/ Patchworkers in mind but is ideal for all sewing projects.
