

Labyrinth is a bold, geometric quilt pattern designed by Susan Guzman for Project Jelly Roll 2026, featuring a striking concentric layout that builds outward from the centre in expanding rings. Using clever strip‑based construction, each block grows in size through layered rectangles, creating a dramatic maze‑like effect with clean lines and strong visual impact.
The finished quilt measures 60½" × 60½" and uses 36 strips from a standard jelly roll, paired with background fabric to emphasise the stepped, architectural design. Each block is constructed from a sequence of jelly roll rectangles and matching background pieces, building up to a 10½" × 10½" unit. Rotating and arranging the 36 blocks produces the signature labyrinth layout.
Clear cutting instructions, pressing guidance and assembly diagrams make Labyrinth approachable for confident beginners while offering a satisfying, rhythmic build for experienced quilters. We also offer a sample service, where you can order 1 single fat quarter of any standard width fabric, to have at home and compare colours. When you are finished, you can send them back to us for a refund (feel free to contact us for more information on this service).
Our fabric can be cut as a Long Quarter, measuring a minimum of 25cm x width of bolt. We will supply the fabric as a continuous length (eg; if you bought 1.25m it will be sent as one piece of fabric).
