Free Pattern: Moda Love and Hearts Quilt

The Moda Love and Hearts Quilt is a joyful, creativity‑driven project designed to accompany Moda’s Handmade Heart a Day challenge. Finishing at 52" × 64", this quilt combines the much‑loved Moda Love Charm Quilt as the centre block with 28 pieced heart blocks arranged in borders around it. The result is a bright, uplifting quilt celebrating colour, friendship and handmade craft.

This pattern uses two charm packs for the prints and includes full instructions for cutting, piecing and assembling the heart blocks, sashings and borders. The Moda Love centre block is made using the original free Moda Love Charm Quilt pattern, which is referenced and linked within the instructions.

A fun, meaningful quilt project perfect for Valentines sewing, charm‑pack challenges or gifting to someone special.

• 2 x Charm Packs
• 3 1/4 Yards x Background Fabric
• 1/2 Yard x Binding
• 3 1/2 Yards x Backing

NOTE: If you are using the existing Moda Love Charm Quilt block or adding to a Moda Love fabric pull, you only need 1 x Additional Charm Pack and 2 1/2 Yards of Background for the Hearts & Borders.
