This is a collection of 14 beautiful bag and purse designs to quilt and stitch. The author has provided two projects a day for every day of the week. They include the Quilter’s Suitcase – a large patchwork holdall big enough to contain all your unfinished quilting and applique projects. The accompanying Mini Pochette is the perfect size for transporting rotary cutters, scissors and sewing kit.
This fabulous collection of quilted bag and purse patterns is suitable for quilters of all abilities – each bag/purse duo features the same simple patchwork or appliqué technique, so quilters can try out the smaller item before embarking on the main bag.
Easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions ensure that the instructions are simple and easy to follow and each pair is ‘fat quarter friendly’ – making them the perfect projects to use up your existing fabric stash. All of the bags are accompanied by a variation that shows them off in a completely different colour scheme, providing a further 14 inspirational designs.
Our standard width fabric can be cut as a Fat Quarter, measuring 50cm x 1/2 the width of the bolt. Above is an example of how your fabric will be received, depending on the quantity ordered.
We also offer a sample service, where you can order 1 single fat quarter of any standard width fabric, to have at home and compare colours. When you are finished, you can send them back to us for a refund (feel free to contact us for more information on this service).
Our fabric can be cut as a Long Quarter, measuring a minimum of 25cm x width of bolt. We will supply the fabric as a continuous length (eg; if you bought 1.25m it will be sent as one piece of fabric).
