With the Couching Inserts, you can creatively sew yarns, cords, and wool or felt threads on to your project. Enjoy easy couching using either a plexiglass ruler for guidance or the free-motion technique.
The inserts are for use with the Adjustable Ruler Foot #72 and are attached to the underside of the foot. The use of high-quality materials makes the inserts very strong and protects the surface when quilting with metallic yarns and cords.
The three inserts with hole diameters of 1.4, 1.8, and 2.2 mm are suitable for thin, medium, and thick cords.
Important: The inserts extend the foot (+3.5 mm). So that there is no conflict with the stitch plate, the height of the foot should be set to the minimum (from 4 mm to 0 mm) prior to installing the foot via the dial.

Our standard width fabric can be cut as a Fat Quarter, measuring 50cm x 1/2 the width of the bolt. Above is an example of how your fabric will be received, depending on the quantity ordered.
We also offer a sample service, where you can order 1 single fat quarter of any standard width fabric, to have at home and compare colours. When you are finished, you can send them back to us for a refund (feel free to contact us for more information on this service).
Our fabric can be cut as a Long Quarter, measuring a minimum of 25cm x width of bolt. We will supply the fabric as a continuous length (eg; if you bought 1.25m it will be sent as one piece of fabric).
