Product Overview
The standard presser foot is a loyal companion for everyday overlocking and coverstitch projects. It is perfect for tidying up individual layers of fabric and for creating flat seams and rolled seams. The fabric edge is cut back, sewn and finished off in one step. The flat sole ensures that the fabric is in constant contact with the feeder guide, providing a smooth sewing experience.
Instructions
- 1. Set machine for a Coverstitch or Chain Stitch.
- 2. Raise the presser foot and change to InchStandard presser foot Inch
- 3. Note: this foot can be used to sew along the fabric hem or decorative in the middle of fabric.
- 4. Place fabric under the foot and lower it.
- 5. Sew, guiding the fabric as needed
- 6. This see-through foot lets you see stitches under the foot as you sew.
- 7. It is especially useful to match up the end of a hem seam with its start for a beautiful finish.
Our standard width fabric can be cut as a Fat Quarter, measuring 50cm x 1/2 the width of the bolt. Above is an example of how your fabric will be received, depending on the quantity ordered.
We also offer a sample service, where you can order 1 single fat quarter of any standard width fabric, to have at home and compare colours. When you are finished, you can send them back to us for a refund (feel free to contact us for more information on this service).
Our fabric can be cut as a Long Quarter, measuring a minimum of 25cm x width of bolt. We will supply the fabric as a continuous length (eg; if you bought 1.25m it will be sent as one piece of fabric).
