How to make a warranty claim
If you think your machine has a fault, here is what to do.
Check our troubleshooting guides
Many common issues can be resolved quickly without a repair. Our guides cover the most frequent problems and fixes.
Get in touch with us
If the issue persists, contact our team. Have your proof of purchase ready and a description of the fault.
We arrange the repair
As an authorised service centre for all the brands we sell, we handle warranty repairs in-house wherever possible.
Who covers collection and return costs
This depends on how long ago your machine was delivered and whether the fault is confirmed as a manufacturing defect.
If the fault is covered by warranty, we arrange and pay for collection and return. No cost to you at all.
✓ We cover collection & returnIf a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we cover both collection and return. If no fault is found, collection and return postage costs are covered by you.
Depends on outcomeYou're responsible for arranging and covering collection and return postage, regardless of the outcome.
✗ Customer covers costsCommon warranty questions
A few things customers ask us most often about machine warranties.
Do I need to register my machine to activate the warranty?
What counts as commercial or teaching use?
Does servicing affect my warranty?
My machine was a gift - is the warranty still valid?
What are my legal rights if my machine has a manufacturing fault?
- ✓ Right to a full refund
- ✓ Or a replacement if you'd prefer
- ✓ We cover postage
- ✓ We investigate first
- ✓ We cover postage if confirmed
- ✓ Repair or replace if fault confirmed
- ✓ You arrange postage
Who has to prove the fault? In the first 6 months, a fault is assumed to have been present from the start - it's up to us to show otherwise. After 6 months, it's up to you to show the fault was there when the machine was sold, though in practice your manufacturer's warranty usually covers you during this period anyway.
These rights apply to manufacturing faults - not accidental damage, misuse or normal wear and tear. Not sure which yours is? Just get in touch and we'll help you work it out.
What if my machine develops a fault outside the warranty period?
