Heavy duty, powerful and fast, the flatbed HD9 straight stitch sewing machine is for the avid sewer. The Janome HD9sewing machines achieves Speeds of 800 – 1600 stitches per minute, side loading industrial rotary hook with 40% larger bobbin design and an independent bobbin winder, so you don’t need to stop sewing to wind a bobbin. With a synchronised thread tension lever and 10.5lbs of presser foot pressure, the HD9 is also perfect for home furnishings, thicker fabric’s and dressmaking too.

An aluminium body and adjustable knee lifter make quilting a joy. The HD9 has the performance of an industrial machine but with quiet operation and sleek design.

A unique large bobbin design holds 40% more thread than a standard bobbin and the machine has an independent bobbin winding motor and a remote thread cutter compatible socket. This model is perfect for larger projects: home decorating, quilts, occasion dresses and sewing heavy weight fabrics. The HD9 has no oil lubrication holes in the bed, therefore no oil stains on fabrics!
