What does a Janome overlocker do?
A Janome overlocker makes light work of sewing seams. Two needles sew a running stitch, while two loopers loop over the edge of the fabric to stop it fraying. At the same time a cutting blade trims the edges as the seam is sewn, to create a neat and professional finish. Most models can disengage the cutting blade to sew a rolled hem and lots of other different stitch options to sew a variety of fabrics including stretch, knits and woven.
