Ruby Star Society Freaky Familiars

The Freaky Familiars collection by Ruby Star Society is a playful, modern take on Halloween sewing. Designed collaboratively by the RSS team, it celebrates magical animal companions - familiars - with quirky charm and bold colour. Expect bats, frogs, cats, owls and spiders, alongside friendly jack‑o’‑lanterns and witchy motifs, all rendered in Ruby Star’s signature illustrative style.

The palette mixes pumpkin orange, spooky black, eggplant purple, citron, teal and neon yellow, creating a fresh, contemporary Halloween aesthetic that’s fun rather than frightening. Perfect for quilts, bags, seasonal décor and accessories, Freaky Familiars coordinates beautifully with Ruby Star basics like Starry and Speckled.
