The Moda Sunlit Ruins Layer Cake offers a generous selection of 10" squares showcasing the full beauty of this nature‑inspired collection. Featuring warm neutrals, stone textures and soft, artistic prints, these pre‑cuts are perfect for quilts, table runners, bags and larger contemporary sewing projects. The cohesive palette and premium 100% cotton make it easy to create sophisticated, earthy designs with minimal cutting.

A layer cake contains 42 pieces of fabric per pack, and each piece is 10" square. Moda fabric ranges have up to 40 different fabrics in a range, and there are 42 pieces in a layer cake. You will receive at least 2 duplicates from the fabric range; however, when a fabric range has fewer than 40 fabrics, you will receive more duplicates to make 42 pieces in total.

Cut Type: Fat Quarter

Our standard width fabric can be cut as a Fat Quarter, measuring 50cm x 1/2 the width of the bolt. Above is an example of how your fabric will be received, depending on the quantity ordered. We also offer a sample service, where you can order 1 single fat quarter of any standard width fabric, to have at home and compare colours. When you are finished, you can send them back to us for a refund (feel free to contact us for more information on this service).
