A jelly roll is a versatile quilting material, ideal for creating intricate patchwork quilts, table runners, and various sewing projects with coordinated and precisely cut fabric strips.

A jelly roll contains forty pieces of fabric per pack, and each strip is 2.5 inches wide by 44 inches in length. Moda fabric ranges have up to forty different fabrics in a range, and there are forty pieces in a jelly roll. You will receive one of each fabric in a range; however, when a fabric range has fewer than forty fabrics, you will receive duplicates of some fabrics to make forty pieces in total.

This collection was inspired by the plants growing in the designer's garden, along with the shapes and symmetry found in nature.The bright colours and bold patterns evoke summer in the designer's mind, conjuring images of a quilt unfurled on the ground for an outdoor picnic. Each print begins with a hand-carved linocut and embraces the texture and striking shapes that are a hallmark of Katherine Watson’s printmaking style.
