Calico Lightweight is a soft, unbleached cotton fabric with a fine, smooth weave, ideal for delicate craft work, textile art and everyday sewing where a lighter hand is preferred. Sold by the metre and cut to your required length, it offers excellent flexibility for small projects, batch‑making and workshop kits.

This lightweight calico is perfect for pattern drafting, mock‑ups, toile work, lining fabrics, rag dolls, soft crafts, embroidery bases and surface‑design techniques. Its natural, unbleached finish provides a clean, neutral background that accepts dyes, paints and textile mediums beautifully.

Easy to sew, press and handle, Calico Lightweight is a dependable staple for makers who need a smooth, fine cotton that performs consistently across a wide range of craft and sewing applications.

Fabric will shrink by around 10% on first wash and a further 3% thereafter.
