Our standard width fabric can be cut as a Fat Quarter, measuring 50cm x 1/2 the width of the bolt. Above is an example of how your fabric will be received, depending on the quantity ordered.
We also offer a sample service, where you can order 1 single fat quarter of any standard width fabric, to have at home and compare colours. When you are finished, you can send them back to us for a refund (feel free to contact us for more information on this service).
Our fabric can be cut as a Long Quarter, measuring a minimum of 25cm x width of bolt. We will supply the fabric as a continuous length (eg; if you bought 1.25m it will be sent as one piece of fabric).
Brother Celeste CX1 Product Review & Demonstration
The Brother Celeste CX1 is a computerised sewing and quilting machine built for sewers who want precise, reliable results on ambitious projects. The Intelligent Stitch Regulator (ISR) is included as standard and keeps stitch length consistent during free-motion quilting for outstanding results. With a 10.1-inch high-resolution IPS LCD touchscreen, a Square Feed Drive System and a top speed of 1,050 stitches per minute, the CX1 is built to handle long sewing sessions without interruption.
The 11.25-inch workspace to the right of the needle gives you room for king-size quilts, curtains and other large-scale work. Attach the included wide extension table and that area expands to approximately 16 by 25 inches, so fabric stays supported from start to finish. The Compact Dual Feed Foot feeds fabric simultaneously from top and bottom, which is particularly useful on layered fabrics, leather and vinyl where a standard presser foot causes shifting. ICAPS Auto Foot Pressure detects fabric thickness automatically and adjusts the presser foot pressure accordingly, so you move between different fabric weights without stopping to reset the machine.
The Sew Straight Laser Guide projects a bright line onto the fabric to keep stitching aligned across quilting, piecing and decorative work, and it remains visible on dark fabrics where drawn lines are difficult to see. Automatic Thread Tension sets thread tension continuously for each stitch type so you get clean results on both sides of the fabric without manual adjustment. Full-Spectrum LED lighting covers almost 11 inches around the needle with five adjustable brightness levels, keeping the work area clear during detailed tasks.

Almost 11 inches of full-spectrum LED lighting surrounds the needle area with five adjustable brightness levels including off, so you can set the illumination to suit the fabric colour and the room conditions. The automatic needle threader makes threading straightforward at the start of each session, and the automatic thread cutter trims upper and lower threads after each seam. Intelligent Stitch Regulator (ISR)

Uses infrared edge detection to monitor how fast fabric is fed through the machine and adjusts needle speed in real time so stitch length stays even throughout free-motion quilting work. Sew Straight Laser Guide
Projects a precise laser line onto the fabric surface to give you a clear stitching reference for quilting rows, seam alignment and decorative stitch positioning. The line remains visible on dark and patterned fabrics where drawn guidelines are difficult to see, and the guide has a 19mm side-shift capability for positioning seam allowances and parallel rows without re-marking. Particularly useful for topstitching, crosshatch quilting and following seam lines.
ICAPS Auto Foot Pressure and Compact Dual Feed Foot
ICAPS is a fabric sensor system that detects material thickness continuously while you sew and adjusts presser foot pressure automatically to match. How does the sew straight laser guide work?
The guide projects a bright laser line onto the fabric surface as a stitching reference, which means you can follow a consistent path for quilting rows, seam allowances and decorative stitch alignment without drawing lines on the fabric first. The line is visible on dark and patterned fabrics, and the 19mm side-shift means you can position it at different distances from the needle to suit the seam allowance or row spacing you are working to.
What is ICAPS and how does it help with different fabrics?
ICAPS stands for Intelligent Creative Auto Presser System. It detects how thick the fabric beneath the foot is and adjusts the presser foot pressure automatically while you sew, so the machine handles lightweight fabrics, quilting wadding, denim and leather without you needing to change the setting manually each time. This is particularly useful when a project moves through areas of different thickness, such as crossing seams in patchwork.
Can I create my own stitch designs on the CX1?
Yes. My Custom Stitch lets you draw and combine stitch patterns directly on the 10.1-inch touchscreen and save them to the machine for future use. The machine also includes 185 sample stitches as a starting point for developing your own designs. Finished custom stitches are stored on the machine and can be recalled at any time.
What apps does the CX1 work with?
The CX1 connects wirelessly to Artspira. Artspira lets you access and create designs from your mobile device.
Is the extension table included?
Yes. The wide extension table is included with the CX1 and expands the workspace to approximately 16 by 25 inches. This gives you the support needed for king-size quilts, curtains and other large-scale projects where the standard bed area is not sufficient.
