After earning a first-class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering, he worked in both aerospace and automotive industries, where he developed the technical thinking and problem-solving approach that now drives his deep understanding of sewing machines.

Growing up in a family with over 40 years in the sewing industry, Darius has been around machines his entire life. There's hardly a make or model he hasn't worked with, and his workshop remains the beating heart of The Sewing Studio. This is where he personally tests, fine-tunes, and services every machine we sell, ensuring each one meets his exacting standards for performance and reliability.
