Mechanical Janome sewing machines are ones that don’t have any computerisation, meaning you’ll use dials to select and customise your stitches. Each dial on this sewing machine is very clearly marked and easy to turn, so you won’t have to fight with the machine at all!

This machine has 25 stitches built in, including 1 buttonhole that is great for most garment styles and fabric types, so you won’t have to worry about if your machine is good for creating beautiful clothes. All of the stitches are utility stitches that are great for garments, quilting, and upholstery projects alike. You’ll be amazed at how versatile this budget-friendly machine can be!

You’ll love the built-in needle threader, too! It makes threading the machine a breeze along with the guides that show you where to place your thread that are printed directly on the machine itself. You won’t have to refer to the manual once you thread it the first time!

One of our favourite features of this machine is how easy it is to change the presser foot. To change out the presser foot, you simply need to press a small button on the back of the presser foot shank to release the foot that’s currently on the machine. Then you line up the foot you want to use and lower the shank until the foot simply snaps into place! Easy! And no need to get out your screwdriver!

The Janome J3-24 sewing machine has the ability to convert from a flat bed to a free arm, so that you can easily sew smaller circles such as sleeves and trouser legs and give them a professional touch!
