Instead, you can just keep sewing while the other motor winds your bobbin! This feature also keeps wear and tear from both motors, really extending the life of your sewing machine!

Just like other sewing machines, this one does come with a built-in needle threader that works every time. It also has an automatic thread cutter to save you time and thread as you work. And, on top of that you’ll find a jack on the side of the machine to be able to use a thread cutter foot control along with your normal foot control. This machine has so many features that make sewing more comfortable and enjoyable that you won’t want to go back to using other, more basic sewing machines.

Now, any professional will say that the key to the perfect machine for professional work has a lot of space to work. Luckily, the Janome HD9 has about nine inches of workspace to the right of the needle, giving you over 12 inches of workspace total! That’s a great amount for any professional sewist. You can work on projects of any size on this sewing machine with that much space!

What else makes this machine special is how it’s been built. Most Janome sewing machines have a plastic outer shell to keep their machine lightweight and easy to clean if needed. But, the HD9 has a painted aluminium body. It’s powder-coated to make the metal exterior soft and sleek so that the metal isn’t sharp, and it’s just as easy to clean as their other machines.

The interior is extra special, too! Due to the high speeds of the machine, you might expect it to wear out faster. But you will be happily mistaken! The inner workings of the HD9 sewing machine is made with ball bearings to absorb the vibrations of the high-speed motors, just like an automobile!
