You’ll be able to customise your stitches, too. If you need a stitch to be a little bit wider or longer, you’ll be able to adjust them where applicable. It has a maximum stitch width of 5.5mm! That’s a lot of space to adjust to!

One of our favourite features is the automatic tension! With automatic tension, you won’t have to adjust it every time you switch between stitches or fabric type. The machine gauges it to choose the ideal tension for each stitch.

Other features that make your sewing experience easier and more streamlined. The Bernina 735 has a built-in needle threader, automatic needle up/down, and automatic thread cutter, too! These features help you to save time in not only setting up your machine to begin sewing but also while you’re working. The automatic thread cutter, especially, makes it so that you don’t have to stop to find your snips at the end of every seam while also helping you to save thread by cutting closer to the seam than most sewists do.

Have you ever used a knee lift? If not, you should try it out on the Bernina 735! It comes with a knee lift included, also known as the Bernina Free Hand System. With this system, you’ll be able to lift your presser foot with just a nudge of your knee against the lever that hangs below the table and plugs right into the front of the machine.

The large screen on the Bernina 735 is large enough to see and use, but doesn’t overpower the machine or the user. It’s 7-inches and reacts to simple touches, either from your fingers or a stylus.

And there’s a lot of workable space on this machine! You’ll find10 inches of workspace to the right of the needle, meaning that you’ll be able to work on large quilts and ballgowns whenever you choose to!
