It has a lot of stitch variations for you to work with. That’s 16 different variations that will use anywhere from 2 threads to 4 threads. And you’ll be able to customise your stitch width anywhere from 3 to 7mm. You’ll be able to work with delicate or heavy-duty fabrics very easily!

It's also super fast at overlocking! You’ll be able to stitch up to 1300 stitches per minute! But don’t worry about that being too fast. You can easily slow it down with just a little pressure on the foot control. We know that sewing at break-neck speeds can be daunting, especially on a machine that cuts away fabric as it works, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll appreciate the speed of the B64 Airlock.

This machine is extra special, not only because of its air threading capabilities, but it also has Micro Thread Control! Micro thread control gives you consistent stitches without having to adjust anything on the machine itself. You can just take off sewing once you select a stitch, no matter what fabric you’re working with!

It’s rare to see an overlocker with a Freehand System built in. That means that you’ll be able to raise the presser foot with a knee lift and be able to keep your hands on your work at all times. If you’re working with fabric that slips easily or might tear if moved incorrectly, this feature is absolutely essential! Costume designers will especially appreciate this feature, we’re sure of it! The bright LED lights throughout the machine are positioned perfectly so that you can always see your project as you work. There are 5 different lights for you to see at every angle. You want to make sure that you are able to see and are not sewing in shadow in order to avoid any mistakes. A mistake on an overlocker isn’t always reversible like on a sewing machine!

What would make this overlocker even more perfect for anyone looking to create professional and sturdy garments? Why, a Free arm, of course! With a free arm, you’ll be able to work on the little circular bits of each garment, such as cuffs and sleeves. And it comes with a slide-on table for extra workspace and an extra 130mm to the right of the needle that isn’t always found on the average overlocker!

So how exactly does air threading technology work? Air threading technology helps to move the threads through the harder to reach loopers in the bottom of the machine that create that locking stitch over raw edges. Threading the machine begins just as you would thread most other overlockers that have lay-in tension dials. Follow the colour-coded arrows. Once you get to the point that you would normally fight with the bottom loopers, you simply stick the thread into small holes, that are also colour-coded, and simply press a button! And then- WOOSH! The thread is sent through those pesky loopers! It really is that easy! And, to make threading this machine even easier, it comes with a built-in needle threader!
