The DKS30 SE has the perfect amount of stitch varieties for sewers of all levels. You’ll find 30 stitches including 3 automatic buttonholes. You’ll have all of the essential utility stitches that you need to sew any kind of project you set to your needle.

You’ll love that this machine comes with an automatic thread cutter. An automatic thread cutter is a great asset as it cuts your thread at the end of your seam. You’ll be able to save thread and money since it cuts the thread tails closer to the fabric (but not close enough to cut the fabric!) instead of having to pull it away from the machine to trim the thread tails. And you’ll have less thread scraps all over your sewing space.

It also has an LED screen that is very clear to read and understand. It tells you what stitch you’ve selected, what the width and length of the stitch are, and what foot you should be using! 

The Janome DKS30 SE also has a brightly lit workspace. There are LED Lights strategically placed by the needle as well as in the throat space so that you can easily see your work. It also has a moderately sized workspace. To the right of the needle, you’ll find 6 inches of workspace. That’s enough to work on a throw-sized quilt, or more if you’re good at tightly rolling your work!
