What Are Lampshade Making Kits?

Design a lampshade to match your upholstery, curtains, wallpaper or any room theme. Our kit makes you a professional 30cm diameter 21cm high Drum Lampshade from the covering of your choice, that can be used as a Pendant (ceiling), or with a suitable Table or Floor Lamp.

How to make them

Easy to use, laminate your covering to the self-adhesive lampshade panel and follow the step-by-step instructions.

What size will my covering need to be?

Your covering needs to be 970mm wide x 255mm to cover the self-adhesive panel supplied

What type of lamp holder will this lampshade fit?

The lampshade frame included in your kit will fit the standard bayonet cap (BC) lamp, holder. This is the most common type of lamp fitting in the UK today. It can also be used with Edison Screw (E27) lamp holders, most common in Europe, merely remove the converter plug in the centre of the fitting

Our standard width fabric can be cut as a Fat Quarter, measuring 50cm x 1/2 the width of the bolt. Above is an example of how your fabric will be received, depending on the quantity ordered. We also offer a sample service, where you can order 1 single fat quarter of any standard width fabric, to have at home and compare colours.
