The Janome J3-24 is a mechanical machine that's easy to use with a good range of features, perfect for those embarking on their sewing journey, or experienced sewers. There are 24 stitches to choose from, including stretch stitches and an automatic 1-step buttonhole.
It has a numbered thread path and a built-in needle threader. Stitch length and width can be adjusted up to 5mm, using the handy dials on the front of the machine. Feed dogs can be dropped for free motion work and the presser foot lift has an extra high raise to accommodate thicker projects.
The Janome J3-24 weighs approximately 6kg and comes with a hard cover, convenient for storing away or travelling to classes.

Top of the J3 series this model offers the facility of variable stitch width and length, allowing maximum benefit from the 16 utility and eight decorative stitches. A hard cover provides great protection when not in use. This is an excellent machine which is packed with a superb selection of stitches and features. It is a really easy to use three dial model, one for stitch selection one for adjusting stitch length and the other for stitch width adjustment. It just couldn’t be simpler. The automatic 1-step buttonhole produces perfect buttonholes in one easy step whilst the automatic needle threader takes the strain out of threading the needle. Our standard width fabric can be cut as a Fat Quarter, measuring 50cm x 1/2 the width of the bolt. Above is an example of how your fabric will be received, depending on the quantity ordered.
We also offer a sample service, where you can order 1 single fat quarter of any standard width fabric, to have at home and compare colours. When you are finished, you can send them back to us for a refund (feel free to contact us for more information on this service).
Our fabric can be cut as a Long Quarter, measuring a minimum of 25cm x width of bolt. We will supply the fabric as a continuous length (eg; if you bought 1.25m it will be sent as one piece of fabric).
