Our standard width fabric can be cut as a Fat Quarter, measuring 50cm x 1/2 the width of the bolt. Above is an example of how your fabric will be received, depending on the quantity ordered.
We also offer a sample service, where you can order 1 single fat quarter of any standard width fabric, to have at home and compare colours. When you are finished, you can send them back to us for a refund (feel free to contact us for more information on this service).
Our fabric can be cut as a Long Quarter, measuring a minimum of 25cm x width of bolt. We will supply the fabric as a continuous length (eg; if you bought 1.25m it will be sent as one piece of fabric).

The Brother Innov-is F540E is a dedicated embroidery machine designed with ease of use, intuitive automatic features and an impressive embroidery area in mind. Straight out of the box, there are 193 built-in designs to play with from florals, animals, geometrics and seasonal motifs, plus 13 font styles available in three sizes. For full customisation, the Wireless LAN connectivity allows design transfer from a Windows PC or via the Artspira app.
The 180 x 130mm embroidery area, equivalent to a 7 x 5 inch hoop, hits the sweet spot size for monograms, personalised gifts, clothing details and customised home accessories. On-screen editing tools let you resize, rotate, mirror and combine designs until they are just right. The colour sorting function groups same-colour sections of a design together so the machine works through them in sequence which means fewer thread changes per design.
Finally, it's the little details that make all the difference: automatic jump stitch trimming keeps things neat as you go, while upper and lower thread sensors give you a heads-up before you run out mid-design. The advanced needle threading system works by lowering a single lever, removing the need for manual needle threading. The quick-set drop-in bobbin loads from the top, and upper and lower thread sensors monitor both threads while the machine runs. The automatic thread cutter trims top and bobbin threads together at the end of each colour block, pulling the upper thread to the underside.

Is the Brother Innov-is F540E a sewing machine as well as an embroidery machine?
No. The F540E is a dedicated embroidery-only machine. It does not sew utility or decorative stitches in the way a combined sewing and embroidery machine does. If you already own a sewing machine and want to add embroidery capability alongside it, the F540E is well suited to that setup.
What size projects can I embroider on the F540E?
The included hoop covers a maximum area of 180 x 130mm, which is 7 x 5 inches. This is a practical size for monograms, personalised labels, garment details and cushion panels. Optional frames in smaller sizes are available for items like cuffs and pockets, and a larger 30 x 13cm frame can be purchased separately for border work.
How do I transfer new designs to the machine?
