The Moda Bahama Dreams fabric collection captures the essence of Bahama Dreams… the place where you want to go to get away from it all! Bodies in the sand, tropical drink melting in your hand. Falling in love to the rhythm of a steel drum band. This collection of Bahama Batiks won’t take the place of actually being there, but it does evoke the blue waters, sunny skies, and lush landscape of the islands.

Batik is a type of resist printing process in which wax is applied to the fabric in specific areas. When the wax hardens, the fabric is submerged in dye. The wax prevents colour absorption, which creates a patterned negative once the wax is removed.

This quality quilting fabric can be used for patchwork fabric quilts and other various creative crafts, and can easily be used with domestic sewing machines. Its continuous length allows for tailored projects, including clothing items like dresses or shirts, as well as curtains, cushions, pillows, and numerous crafting projects.
