Our Dream Wishlist

Our team of sewers, quilters & dress-makers have shared what's on their wishlist this Christmas...

One fabric which appeared on almost every team members wishlist was Ruby Star's Backyard fabric range. "Immerse yourself in a playful world inhabited by adorable bunnies, cheerful chickens, vibrant cardinals, and mischievous cats, all set against a captivating backdrop of blues and teals, with hints of passionate red and elegant black accents."

When we asked Johanna she said "I have always wanted an overlocker and have been lucky enough to use the Brother 4234D Overlocker - its range of stitches are great and I really like its simplified threading process!"

Demonstrating many machines every week, Jenny said "I have plenty of machines on my dream wishlist, but the two at the top are the Janome 6700p Sewing Machine and the Bernina L460 Overlocker. They are both capable and sturdy."

Naomi, who produces our YouTube tutorials, said "filming both Katrina and Jeanette for the last couple of years - I have always dreamt of owning an Oliso Iron - it's so cool, lifting itself up as a safety mechanism adds a lot of personality to the product!"

Lou has always admired a rotating cutting mat as "it makes the process of quilting easier and much more accurate - by spinning the mat you're not moving your fabric as much. It's also great for when you have limited space."

Anna said "I would love the Janome Ruler Work Foot and the Six Piece Kit that goes with it. This kit comes with six rulers and instructions, the ruler work foot would make quilting with any ruler much easier. As an extra wish - a ruler rack will help for safe storage of my growing ruler collection!"

Mary's always dreamt of a brand new Overlocker, so she chose the Janome 6234XL Overlocker for her wishlist. She chose this machine as it's got an easy rolled hem conversion and colour coded easy threading.

Hopefully, if the staff have been good enough, this year, Father Christmas will gift them with their favoured items.
