The screen doesn’t take up too much space but boasts large numbers that are easy to read without straining your eyes. You can easily change the stitch width of any stitch to a maximum of 7mm with this machine, too, really giving you more options. The screen also indicates exactly what foot you should be using with whatever stitch you’d chosen to use, making sure you don’t accidentally break a needle on the wrong foot!

What is it that really makes this machine something special?

The eXperience 570 has so many options for a machine of its size and price. It has all of the bells and whistles of a high-end machine in a small and sturdy package and has everything you need to create amazing quilts and clothes, or any other projects you can imagine on your sewing table.

One thing we really love about this machine? The amount of stitches this little machine is programmed with! We’re honestly blown away at the fact that the Elna eXperience 570 has 380 stitches to choose from. 12 of those are 1-step automatic buttonholes, and 180 are alphabet stitches! You’ll want for nothing with this machine and the number of options you have to choose from. On the side of the machine, you’ll find a stitch guide, too, making it easy to know which stitch you want to select.

The eXperience 570 also features automatic needle up/down – great for having to turn a corner, especially when binding quilts or sewing on applique! You can program it to stay up when you stop sewing, or to stay down in order to pivot on the same piece of fabric. This feature really makes your work look professional.

You’ll also find that this sewing machine has an automatic thread cutter. Once you try this feature, you’ll never want to go back to having to search for your scissors or use the old, dull blade on the side of your machine.

One of our favourite things about this machine is that it comes with an extension table that fits the machine perfectly. Extension tables are perfect for all sewists. It literally extends the amount of working space you can use around your sewing machine. They’re especially helpful in quilting, helping to keep the fabric level so that it doesn’t pull and you can make sure your seams are straight.

Speaking of sewing workspace, the eXperience 570 has a good amount for a machine its size. You’ll have 6 inches of workspace to the right of the needle. With that much space, you’ll be able to manoeuvre your sewing projects easily, especially adding in the extra workspace the extension table adds to it!
