One of our favourite features of the higher-end Janome sewing machines is that they come with a built-in even feed system. Accufeed Flex acts like a built-in walking foot, but more accurate! Since it’s built into the machine, it’s timed perfectly to feed fabric with the bottom feed dogs through the machine at the same rate. No more accidental puckers or skewed piecing with Accufeed! And it’s not confined to just one kind of foot. Accufeed feet come in many shapes and functions, including a zipper foot!

Another thing we love about the 9450QCP sewing machine is something you’ll try and never want to come back from. This machine has an automatic thread cutter, yes, but there’s something that makes this automatic thread cutter, in particular, extra special. It’s made even better by the remote that connects to the sewing machine’s foot control. That’s right- you can cut your threads with the touch of your toe!

The Janome 9450QCP Sewing Machine is really built with the sewist in mind. Saying it’s well-lit is an understatement! On the throat of the machine you’ll find 3 LED lights. Around the needle are 6 more LED lights so that you can really see what you’re working on. And something extra? There’s an adjustable highlight on the front of the machine. You can pull it out whenever you need that extra bit of lighting, or put it away when you don’t need it. The head of the light rotates a little bit so that you can shed light on whatever part of your work you need to. This adjustable light is truly a game changer!
